Tate's Bake Shop Cookies, Gluten Free Double Chocolate Chip. Yum!!

So I'm going to start posting my opinions on some gluten free food. I have had many mishaps over the last four months or so, been glutened more than I would like to admit. I'm an extremely sensitive celiac, so I know within ten minutes if I have eaten a crumb I shouldn't have! I have been sick the last four times I have visited PF Chang's and ate gluten free, so no more going there ;( One more restaurant crossed off the list. Thankfully my local Steak and Shake and Chick Fil A have strict policies and I have never once gotten sick eating at either restaurant! Applebees gluten free is a joke, I got so sick last time I ate there I couldn't make it out of the restaurant, and all I had was a salad. That was supposed to be gluten free. Ugh.

I have sworn off a number of products because they make me gluten sick (I'm only a celiac, no other allergies), the one I remember most is Amy's products. Boy do they make me glutened!
These were given to me by my lovely sister in law, who gets so much joy out of finding good foods for myself and my celiac suffering son! I must admit, the cookies were really good. Yes, they're gone now. I will admit they are VERY crunchy straight out of the package, so I would open one of the little packaged rows and leave it open for a day in my little humid laundry room, while I did laundry. The next day they were soft and ohhhhh my gosh so yummy! I'm going to try the regular choc chip cookies from Tate's next :)
